snap/stomp: 4 presets only?

Hello,

My helix switches are configured in "snap/stomp". While playing live, I am using 14 presets (for now).

Pushing the bank up or down switch, the 4 snapshot switches on the bottom row are replaced by 4 preset select switches.

The upper row remain unchanged, 4 stomp switches.

Is there a way to have 8 presets selectable after pushing a bank switch ?

I noticed that this is the case when helix is configured as "8 snapshots", 4 presets on the bottom row + 4 on the upper row.

But not when it is in "snap/stomp".

BTW, why only 4 presets in "snap/stomp"? Why to keep the stomp switches available while navigating between banks? I don't see this as being useful, do you?

As soo as a bank switch is pushed, using all the switches to select a preset makes sense to me.

There are a few different options in the global settings. They are all explained on page 52 in the 2.0 manual available by download online, and was provided on the USB drive with the Helix. There are different options in preset mode and stomp mode and the UP/DOWN switches are configurable.

8 presets shown in preset mode is an available option.

Hello, I just received the Helix LT and I'd like to understand this to know what is possible.

I play in a coverband and when being in banks it is useful to be able to go up and down 8 presets at a time, if say in band practice we jump between songs not at all aligned to a setlist. Once I select a preset I want to see 4 snaps on the bottom footswitches and 4 stomps on top, this gets me started quickly with presets downloaded from the line6 webpage with both snapshots or stomps as configured.

As soon as I select snap/stomp or stomp/snap for the footswitch displays when I select a preset I get the 4 and 4 (though when I want the snaps on the bottom I don't see the stomps on top (just blanks), at least not last night, hope a reboot has fixed this.  The first thing I did was install the latest FW before using the  LT, though I did not press 2 switches whilst powering up, not sure if that was needed. So I am happy to see 4 snaps and 4 stomps (though I prefer the snaps on the bottom option to work) but when I go to bank up/down to look for another preset, I only see 4 presets and say the 4 blanks which should be stomps on top which don't move. I don't see the point of that at all, could you tell me how to keep the 8 presets in the banks selection and then once I have selected one of the presets I see 4 snaps of that preset on the bottom switches and 4 stomps of that preset on the top 4 switches. I know the same question was raised above but I've spent a lot of time trying to find the answer and not been able to spend enough time on getting the patches set up and figuring out the other functionality.
