backcrackr
i have been searching vids and such all over the net and can't seem to find an answer. i currently have a helix that i primarily use in a 4cm, and i use some always on effects and some that i stomp box. with the helix i use the editor and setup the patch, then i assign the stomp to the switch. can i do the same with the hx? for example on a helix i may have a volume, phaser, flanger, wah, effects loop, pitch, eq, delay which say the effects loop and volume are always on. can i set this up in an hx and only assign the phaser, flanger, wah, pitch ,eq, delay to the scribble switches? if i can do this i think the hx is better as im really only interested in the 4cm effects thanks
Phreeman123
You can assign the scribble strips to anything you want. I run 4cm and my effects loop block for my amp, my effects loop for my outboard effects and whammy block are unseen. I have the whammy set to auto-engage so no need to take up a scribble strip and switch for it. I also think the HX sounds better in the loop than my Helix Floor did. I think this answers your question.
VirtualGuitars
In theory you should be able to do everything with your effects signal chain with the HX Effects or Helix (obviously minus the amp mod and input/outputs).
