hd 500x for midi controller

hello my name is michael and Im new to the line 6 forum so be easy on this newbie,I have a pod hd500x that I traded for and starting tonight im hooking this baby up and see what it can do,my question is,I have a peavey vyper 30 that I converted into a rack mounted unit along with a behringer v-amp pro.I made these into a head unit that I really love,they sound much better than the credit they get but any how what Im wanting to do is run the hd500x and my head together using just the vyper,wont be using the behringer at the same time.im going to ABY the peavey and the 500x,love the big wall of sound.Im also using a sanpera midi foot controller and want to do away with that and try to use the pod hd500x in place of the sanpera to change just presets and then still use the pod and assign some foot switches to the pod to change its presets.Id like to have if possible 4 presets for the vyper and 4 for the pod hd500x.I know this can be done with a boss gt8 but not sure if and how to do it with the pod,any help to guide me would be appreciated.thanks and looking forward to having some fun on here and using the pod,it sounds awesome.
