SamGuitar91
Hello, I was wondering, is it possible to upgrade the switches on the Line 6 Pod HD500? I would prefer to use bypass switches like these: https://www.allelectronics.com/item/pb-237/3.p.d.t.-momentary-pushbutton-switch/1.html https://www.allelectronics.com/category/716200/switches-pushbutton/momentary/1.html I was wondering if anyone else on here has done a mod similar to this and has posted a guide on how to do this. Otherwise, my bottom row of switches barely works anymore even with contact cleaner, even tested the switches themselves by clicking them in without the back panel off. I know the simple switch could be replaced, but I'm more or less considering to mod the physical foot switch on the outside of the unit. I know you can pay some company to do it for $100, but I'd rather do it myself. Let me know.
SamGuitar91
What about this DL4 mod for its switches? Is it possible to go this route, solder two wires on the switches in this video, and just place the switches onto the top of the unit?:
SamGuitar91
Does anyone have a schematic of the Line 6 Pod HD500 to confirm this?
