soulfine
Hi, I want to record in Cakewalk Sonar electronic drums Roland TD3 using the HD 500 as an interface to send midi signals to Sonar. How do I?
Rewolf48
You can't. Or at least what I think you are asking - you can't. I think you want to go TD3 <MIDI> HD500 <USB><MIDI Driver on PC> Sonar Unfortunately while the HD500 appears as a USB MIDI device it is restricted to just what is needed for HD Edit / Variax Workbench to work, and doesn't support normal stuff like Note-On messages. You need to get a MIDI interface for the computer which can be as simple as a USB MIDI adaptor like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Proxima-Direct%C2%AE-Keyboard-Laptop-Adapter/dp/B004IJ5FEU/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1383570896&sr=1-1&keywords=USB+MIDI, however as you generally get what you pay for you might want to consider something that costs a bit more
