marksei
Has anyone encountered this? And if so, how did you solve it?
DunedinDragon
Did you first download and install the HX Edit program to ensure you Line 6 Updater version was sync'd up with the appropriate version of the device driver and underlying Helix software? marksei
Yes. I got my Helix LT earlier this year and installed them both on my computer. At that time they worked fine. I was able to get the latest updates. There new 2.71 update has a bug fix that may address an issue I've had, so I wanted to get it. I downloaded it with no problem. When I went back to try to launch the updater, I got the error message above. This appears to happen with several applications, not just the Helix Updater. I looked for solutions online but there wasn't a consensus as to what solves this. I think it has something to do with a Windows update, but I'm not sure. Any other ideas? Thanks!
