POD HD PRO X firemware/software issues everywhere

Hi,

First time posting sorry if its a bit all over the place.

A few years ago a friend of mine sold me a pod hd pro x that he himself bought off a friend that he was never able to get working (by this i mean always getting a blank screen). its been sat in cupbords and drawers and gathering dust for many years, while having a little clean up today i thought 'what the hell, i'll dedicate the rest of the day to making this sucker work' but ive hit the wall. ive downloaded a bunch of the drivers and installed them restarted many times, my line 6 monky is up to date. i've allowed my security to accept the drivers. everyting is up to date.

even the edit software can see my device and load presets yet the pod its self cant seem to do anything? total blank screen. also no sound comes out when its my soundcard through either output, xlr or line outs.

Is this still a software issue, is there some base software i need to install first and i've just updated nothing? or is this a hardware issue, broken cable etc etc.. ive uploaded some photos, maybe ive missed something very obvious.

also, if its bust then thats fine because i can just chuck it out and save me having to waste a very useable drawer, i just dont know if it is.

thanks for any help x

Osh
