blocbul Posted June 11, 2019 Share Posted June 11, 2019 I don't know if this happened to anybody else here but I've experience weird issues with patches copy/paste (using HX Edit, as I don't copy/paste directly on the HX) I usually build a set of 5 or 6 main patches and I often copy/paste one of them to another place and start making changes or new patch. This worked fine so far until I started to create a patch I called "Empty", with no assigned blocks in it, that copied/paste to all other patches because I just don't use them and wanted something clean. Basically I have done something like : 000 - Patch1 001 - Patch2 ... 005 - Patch6 007 - Empty 008 - Empty .... 125 - Empty The problem I've seen is that when I want to use the location 007 to paste a new patch in it (copied from one of the previously defined) then all patches after 007 contains the same blocks than the patch 007 I just edited and saved.... However, the patches name remain "Empty". It was not a problem by itself until I discovered another related weird issue: After copying/pasting back the 007 patch I just created to location 002 (and give it different name 002 - XXX for example) I had all the blocks of this patch empty after powering back the unit the next day ... As if the "Empty" patch has been duplicated to this new patch. It looks like a bug. The only solution I've found is to revert to factory settings, with all default patches, imported my own 6 patches and left all the others as is instead of cleaning then up. bassbene Posted June 12, 2019 Share Posted June 12, 2019 I experienced a similar issue with a LT. All previously unused presets contained the same preset data that I just copied before. Even worse: All these presets seems to refer to the same "storage" internally: Whenever I made changes to the "base" preset, these changes applied to all "buggy" presets. An Export of Presets, Reset to Default and Reimport fixed the issue for me. No clue what caused this strange state. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
