Peter
Do you have the problem only in looper mode? Maybe you have a general problem with this footswitch? https://line6.com/support/topic/47456-helix-floor-footswitch-failing/?tab=comments#comment-302121
ChrisWitoski
ya,. its only happening in looper mode on the playback button. i use the function ALOT and gig about 15-20 days a month at 3 -4v hour gigs. wondering if stage grime is affecting its performance, as the problem seems to have started recently. ChrisWitoski
the "double press" is exactly what is happening, I've only had the unit since april. wondering if i should exchange it as i have 2 year warranty?
Peter
Have you installed the latest firmware? I think line6 has tried to fix this problem with a bugfix in 2.
ChrisWitoski
just did and its still having same issue with "double tap"
Peter
Then I would open a support ticket or maybe you can ask your dealer for a replacement device. You can clean the switch, but you have to open the Helix. I don't know, if you want to do that in the warranty period.
