megliometla01 Posted November 11, 2019 Share Posted November 11, 2019 Starting the pod, the amp knob for middle tunes seems to move on its own for a few seconds... it does not depend on the present you start with, it does it with every preset...after few seconds it stops, but each and every time I power the pod the middle tunes changes on their own like someone is turning the knob... not to mention that if I turn the knob myself the response is very slow... it takes like 10/15 seconds to reach the exact calibration after I turned the knob... thanks in advance to anyone who can help me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
hurghanico Posted November 11, 2019 Share Posted November 11, 2019 It seems obvious that the MID potentiometer is worn out and needs to be replaced.. However FYI at the extreme very beginning - MIN position (and at the very end - MAX position) of the potentiometer course there is a very small neutral zone where the potentiometer does nothing if it moves just a little, so if you park the MID control over there no sudden value (read) changes should still occour due to transmitted vibrations or else.
