Legend289 Posted July 13, 2020 Share Posted July 13, 2020 Had a problem with my new HX Stomp tonight. I’ve had it about four weeks, and tonight was the first time I used it with the band. We’d been playing for about an hour, when I turned my bass down for a minute to discuss the song with the band. When I turned the volume back up on my bass, I had no sound at all. Did the usual checks, plugged direct to the amp, swapped leads etc to rule everything else out. Definitely the HX Stomp. I switched to the tuner function, but as soon as I struck a note it went back to the preset. Tried that several times, all with the same result. I rebooted it, and it made no difference. I switched it off for around half hour and played direct into the studios bass amp. It then fired up and worked as normal. it seems to me like this is a possible overheating problem. It felt warm, but not hot. The preset I’m using is also kinda heavy on processing power, probably pushing it to the max. It was also plugged into the laptop at the time. It’s on firmware 2.92.
