I’m having trouble and wondered if someone can help resolve my issue. I’ll try explain as best I can.

I have two inputs into my Helix, an acoustic guitar and laser activated kick drum.

here is what I have set up so far:

—>guitar input —>fx1—> (output??)

—>Aux input(kick drum)—>fx2—>looper—>output

so the issue I’m having is I’d like each input to have different effects, but I want them to both go through the looper, without being affected by each other.

currently my guitar is passing through the EQ for my kick drum as it’s routed to path 2A, but I’d like to avoid this.

essentially I need the output from my guitar to slot in after the effects for my kick and before the looper, can this be done?

thanks, Dan

Are any of your Returns free? Instead of using the Aux Input, plug your kick drum into one of the Returns, and then use a Send/Return block. Path 1 would output to Path 2A, then you would have a Split block where the first block on 2B would be your Return, the effects for the kick, then a Merge block before the looper. Would that work?
