MichelsMax
Hi there I'm new to Amp Modeling in general, the Pod Go is my first modeler. I've had it for a couple of days and so far I'm really impressed with the sounds and what it can do. One small thing bugs me however and I hope you can help me out ;) My first draft setup for the Pod Go is this: I mostly use two sounds in a song: clean and distorted. I made two signal chains for that and saved these in the same bank in the user area. In the clean preset I have a delay and a chorus in the signal chain that are bypassed. I only need these for specific songs. Then I would turn them on for the clean part and switch to the distorted sound. When I switch back to clean the delay and chorus are gone. Of course, since they are not stored in the preset. For this I created a snapshot 2, in which they are turned on. So whenever I switch back, the delay and chorus are turned on. My issue is: Even when I go back to snapshot 1, the Pod Go still goes back to snapshot 2 if it was the active snapshot when I saved the preset. Is there any way to make the Pod Go remember the last used snapshot or the last status of the bypassed effects without saving in the meantime?? I'm aware that there are several workarounds for my problem (saving for these songs, creating additional presets with the effects turned on), but maybe I'm just missing some setting that can make the Pod Go behave in exactly the way I want it to. In a tube amp with an FX-Loop I was always able to do exactly what I'm proposing here. I hope somebody knows what I mean and can help me out. Thanks anyway ;)
