BRB59 Posted June 1, 2021 Share Posted June 1, 2021 I am building a rig as follows: 1/ Helix LT: Guitar Processor and main midi control (Select song - start song - next section - stop) 2/ Beatbuddy: now working fine in slave mode - controlled from Helix via Midi - clock being sent from Helix And - in trial mode: (to be disconnected if anything goes wrong on stage) 3/ Ableton - controlling multiple midi expanders for backing tracks What I need to achieve: I want to send the same clock signal to Ableton so that all instruments are in sync. Ableton says: "If you set Ableton to receive ext clock then it also responds to START / CONTINUE / STOP"' My question: how do I control the transport of Ableton in the situation where ableton is listening to incoming midi from Helix (EXT is on) - How do I set preferences? - What Start/stop messages are being sent from Helix and when?? - Can I do without a midi translator (Bome)?
