Cannot detect a PODHD500

Is the problem Monterey or is there something I'm not allowing through security-wise?  Every time I open POD HD500 Edit, upon startup, it says "Could not detect a POD HD500 connected to your computer.  POD HD500 Edit will run in offline mode."

I looked at the Line6 Audio-Midi devices tab in System Preferences and it isn't showing it there either.  Thanks for any input.

Make sure to connect the HD500 to USB 2.0 only ports, avoid USB 3.0 ports with the POD..

and make sure the driver is installed succesfully in your computer..

If the problem persists check if the POD USB port is broken.. (check also the USB cable)

fine--> HD500%20close.jpg

If the USB port is broken your only solution is to replace it, and maybe you need to replace also the USB controller chip
