jeremycotton
This seems to be a Windows issue (or possibly my laptop) - any advice would be appreciated. I use my Helix as an interface for online lessons - I plug a microphone in and a guitar, and use Google Duo. It worked great until a few weeks ago. Now my (newer) laptop doesn't seem to recognize the Helix as an input device at all - I can still use HX edit to change and modify presets, but when I connect to Duo the guitar and vocal does not go through, and if I plug headphones into the laptop I can't hear the guitar/vocal at all. I can plug headphones the helix and play along with mp3's from the laptop with no issues. The laptop does not list the Helix as an input source I did install Presonus and do a couple scratch recordings while on vacation (using my Stomp XL) - that worked fine - I have since uninstalled Presonus and all of the other software I was using. There have been numerous restarts and I updated all the drivers I could think of, did a hard reset on the Helix... still no dice. My old laptop recognizes the Helix as an audio source, leading me to think the issue is with my laptop, BUT it does recognize my Stomp XL as a digital audio interface Any advice would be appreciated
matsulli
Something similar happened to me after an upgrade once. Check: Global Settings > USB 1/2 Destination It was set to XLR after the upgrade. Changing it to multi fixed me.
