HX Effects and Volume Pedal Issues

Hey All,

Sorry if this has been discussed.  I searched but nothing exactly like this.  I have the HX Effects hooked up 4 cable to my EVH 5150 iii 50 amp.  I have a Mission Line 6 pedal as a wah in the Exp. Pedal 1 jack and the Ernie Ball Jr. Volume Pedal in Exp. 2.  I thought I had it all set but then when I switch channels I have to move the volume pedal to hear volume again?  I have the HX switching amp channels via Midi.  I spent 2 hours messing with it yesterday.  I checked everything on HX Edit, Saved it, and check all presets for this.  Works great say on clean channel, then click another preset which is distortion and never touch the volume pedal there is no volume unless I move the pedal.  I did factory rest the HX Effects.  Am I missing something simple?  I did try setting it up with just the unit too and all looks good then goes right back to this problem or the volume will not go off even though I set position 0-100 and checked them all they seem to default back.  I am not too familiar with this unit any help would be great!
