sixx_van_rose
Hi Guys,Hoping Jim or someone can help me out. I love my HD 500 and I've been using it for months through my Studio monitors. Love the tones that I can get!Last week, I purchased a Jet City 20 watt JCA22h Head. I went exactly to the tee of Jim's tutorial & various You tube videos. I can get the 4CM to work, BUT there are 2 MAJOR issue's for me:1. Its a 2 channel amp. When in the 4cm mode, I cannot engage the jet city foot switch. Its dead. I can not change over from crunch channel to overdrive. The footswitch becomes dead.2. My 2 volume controls on my amp become dead when I'm connected. My Pod takes over for the volume control...odd?Input 1 Guitar, Input 2 VariaxMy signal layout is Noisegate - distortion- wah - studio eq - fx loop - delay - reverb - mixer.Mixer is set path a center -1.5db, path b mute.I'm really hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I really wanted to use the hd 500 with my head.Thanks.. PatrickPS I just tried using my peavey ultra plus head as well, and I must be doing something wrong... The foot switch does not work when I use the hd 500. Meaning I cant switch between channels..

jimsreynolds
Sorry, haven't been on the board for a bit. It sounds to me like you have the FX Loop Block in the Pod Signal chain but that it is not turned on. In that event, you would hear other effects that you added but would not actually hear the pre-amp from your amp. It is not enough just to have the FX Loop block in the chain, it must be turned on also. with 4CM, your amp's entire pre-amp is contained within the POD FX Loop Block. If it is not turned on, most of your amp controls would not work.
