Rokkaholik
I've had this amp since brand new (2005 or 2006?) and it's never left the house, and ALWAYS smoke free. I'm a home player and this has never been gigged or anything abusive. In fact, I don't think I've ever had the volume past 3..... In the last 2 weeks, the amp would sometimes go from whatever channel I was using to a E1. I'd click the channel back and all would be good for a while. Now it is happening more and more frequently. I disconnected the floorboard and I can still hear the amp doing the switch to E1 and I can also hear what I would call a "digital struggle" with the sound. I change the setting to a different type of amp, strum a few times and I can hear it do the switch again within a few seconds. I have NEVER hooked this up to a PC or done any sort of programming or changes as I never needed to so I know it's not some non-compatibility thing or some upgrade gone wrong. I just did the factory reset (first time ever), and it's still doing the E1 thing It also sounds "thin"... like there's no bass side. And it's instant E1 when I change the Amp Models switch Is it toast?
