Floor Pod Power Adapter

Recommended Posts

I inherited this from a friend who lost the adapter.

What is the polarity of the 9v 2000 adapter ?

I have multiple adapters but don't want to blow it with the wrong polarity.

Can't find it in any specs or user manual.

Also it has a 5 pin flat plug exposed outside that is connected inside but unclear what it is used for.

Any help ?

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

First off, a disclaimer: I don't have a Floor Pod. But I have a Pod XT, and given your description I'd be surprised if the power supply of both devices is not the same. I'm attaching a photo of the back of my device to support that idea.

I don't know much of adapters or electrical symbology, and I don't have a voltmeter to find out the actual polarity, but if I had to guess, I'd say that the output from the power supply is also AC. That's very strange for me, but that's what I read. Also, the lack of any indication of polarity anywhere points in that direction.

I hope that helps.
