AlexVDL
Hi there, I tried the search function but could not find an answer. I'm sorry if the answer is already given in another topic. I love the HX effects, but one thing that annoys me is that in snapshot mode you can only use switches 2, 3 5 and 6 to recall the 4 snapshots. Switches 1 and 4 are always reserved for bank up and down or snapshot up and down. Is it possible to move the bank up/down buttons in snapshot mode or maybe remove them completely and have 6 snapshots? My main sounds are clean, rhythm and solo and once in a while a pitch effect. So I would like to have the 3 main sounds/snapshots on the front row switches 4, 5 and 6. I don't like to use the 2nd row, as I have to move my foot over the front row, which is asking for trouble when for instance I have to change from solo to clean while singing. 3 snapshots next to eachother would be more practical for me. Since I don't use the 4th preset/snapshot oten, I don't mind having that one on the 2nd row. I never use bank up and down in the middle of a song, so I don't understand why they have to be featured prominently in snapshot mode. If I could just leave them out and have 6 snapshots, that would be awesome! Thanks in advance!
zappazapper
I'm not an HX Effects owner, but... I think what you want is Stomp Mode. Check out page 11 of the HX Effects manual. You can set Stomp Mode to be in "6 Swtch" mode in Global Settings > Footswitches > Stomp Mode and then use the Command Center to assign Snapshots to footswitches. By the way, Snapshot assignments in Command Center are Per-Snapshot, which means they can move around from one Snapshot to the next. For example, you can have Snapshots 1, 2, and 3 on the bottom row when you're in Snapshot 1, and Snapshots 4, 5, 6 on the bottom row when you're in Snapshot 2. That way you can always put your Snapshots in the most accessible place depending on where you are in the song. Hope this helps.
