jonobareford Posted January 5, 2023 Share Posted January 5, 2023 Hey everyone, I've been doing some digging on how to replicate the drive tone that can be found on the TWEEZ setting of the Tube Echo preset on the DL4. I'd like to have the original source pedal for this and Line 6 mentions this is Maestro EP-1 with its tube electronics and tape saturation giving the "drive". Knowing that the EP-1 is more of an echo unit and isn't really a pedal, is there a drive pedal that best represents this tube echo drive? I looked into the Xotic EP Booster but that mimics the tape saturation of the E-3 which doesn't have tubes. Would the BK Butler Tube Driver do the trick?
