michaeldigangi1
Purchased a Pod XT used this past weekend. Everything needs to be updated. Cant get Monkey to find the POD because the drivers need to be updated. It says I need to run the installer and takes me to a page but I do not find the installer. I am running Windows 11. Is there anyone that can direct me to the installer that I need or at least tell me everything that I need installed on my computer to get this update going? Second question...I had an XT back in the early 2000s that I had purchased the amp packs and had them installed. If I can get Monkey to recognize this XT that I just bought would my Amp packs still reflect on my account and would it let me install them on this POD? liet_
Hi michaeldigangi1, I don't have Windows 11, so I'm shooting in the dark here, but if you go to https://line6.com/software/index.html, and select "PODxt", "Drivers" and "Windows 10", you get the latest driver 4.2.7.7 (https://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=9028), which is advertised to work for Windows 7,8,10,11. Good luck! If I remember correctly, you should be able to install the model pack to up to 4 devices, so you should be good... Cheers, -liet
michaeldigangi1
The problem is the installer. It says that it needs to close Monkey and open the installer but it never finds the installer. It goes to a Line 6 sight that says that it is no longer available
bypassvalve
did you ever figure out how to get your model packs onto the PodXT through windows 11? I'm thinking about buying a backup XT Pro but I'm not sure if i'll be able to get my model packs onto it. Metal Shop is my 95% everything go-to, i prefer the raw sounds of XT and HD to hifi helix and fractal
erobillard
I bought a Variax and the Pod xt Live this past week. Installed the Windows drivers (seemed to work). Installed Pod Farm 2 which included Monkey and License Manager. Neither will connect to Line 6's login service so I can't add licenses for any of these apps. The end goals are to check the xt Live's firmware and upgrade to v3 if it isn't already, and then of course to be able to set things up on my laptop and not directly on the board. Is there a set of steps anywhere to walk through this or is there a support ticket in my future?
