Lamont32 Posted July 11, 2023 Share Posted July 11, 2023 Greetings all, I currently use a POD HD500x, on a 2012 MacPro, running macOS Mojave. The Edit software works provided that I run Line6 Monkey every time I want to use it. I have to reinstall the drivers each time. I never could get the software to run on macOS Catalina at all. Does the software for the Helix run better on macOS than the 500x software. I am considering selling the 500x in favor of a Helix just to avoid the frustration factor. Any input would be appreciated. I am hoping that with the popularity of the Helix, maybe Line6 will not be in a rush to kill of this device in favor of whatever newer model the engineers may come up with. I had gotten my HD500x just as the Helix hit the market, and now Line6 has discontinued it. It would be a sin to "orphan" another pedalboard.
