Can't figure out how to synch MIDI clock to Cubase in Windows 11 - HX Stomp doesn't appear in MIDI devices

I'd like to synch the clock on an HX Stomp to a Cubase project but I'm having the Windows 11 driver issue that has been discussed elsewhere on this forum (the Line 6 device appears in Windows device manager but it Windows doesn't like the driver).

 

The editor seems to work fine, and I don't need the audio I/O features, so I'm wondering if there's some other workaround that allows me to synch MIDI over the USB connection.

 

Any help there?
