Helix LT live with backing tracks

Hi all

need some advice if anyone can help please.

I am going to be doing a gig using backing tracks - me as guitar and singer live.

I have LT and PC+ and want to be able to hear backing tracks as will the singer on stage.

would I be best to have in ears monitors to hear track or would it be best to have a wedge each?

how best to route things with a patch? I wanted to also potentially have a separate path for guest guitar players if poss.

my plan was to use a laptop through helix and then send to PA with my guitar signal / sound mixed in

any views or personal experience of this?

cheers
