Unblindfold
Hi everyone! I've been using the POD Go for a while and I am curious if I can add an external dual switch to change the presets? If so, can someone teach me how to do it? I cannot find videos about it.
Rickkit
You can get a dual momentary switch to plug into the external FS7 FS8 jack and then set it to either up/down preset or up/down bank or up/down snapshot in the Global settings... I have used it in either the up/down preset mode or the up/down bank mode... One of the neat things is when you set it to the up/down bank mode and then activate either switch it will trigger the current bank where you can pick any of the 4 presets... Upon selecting one of the four presets the unit will auto return to the edit mode where you can turn on and off different effects or parameters that you have set... So instead of having the press the mode switch to get back to the edit mode it eliminates that step when in bank up/down mode for FS7 - FS8... This is very handy for live situations, as long as you do not pressĀ FS7 or FS8 more than once as then it will cycle to the next bank (up or down)... I only use one bank with four presets, so I insure against accidental pressings by duplicating several banks with the same presets... Rickkit
Also do not forget that you must use a TRS 1/4" cable when you plug into the External Footswitch jack next to the Guitar Input...
