  1. They absolutely can be used at the same time, unless you remove the internal Exp2 pedal as a controller for the volume pedal block.
  2. Another work around is to use a 2 button momentary contact switch for FS7 & FS8 and then set the switches to up/down banks in Global settings... If you step on either button once it will go to the current bank and you can select one of the 4 presets as normal... However the difference is that once you make a selection the unit will auto return to Stomp Mode... This juicy little work around only works if you set FS7 & FS8 to Banks in Global settings... If set to either Preset or Snapshots it will not work in this neat little work around... I submitted a request over a year ago to just auto return to stomp mode after selecting a preset, but it did not gain any attention or traction... I also submitted that request to the separate site where Line 6 people are supposed to monitor, but users did not jump on that band wagon either... So I just continue on with this work around...
  3. Isn't the Lead FS2 a "latching" switch system... You must use a "momentary contact" 2 button footswitch and a TRS 1/4 cable in order to have it function as FS7 & FS8 on the POD Go...
  4. Also do not forget that you must use a TRS 1/4" cable when you plug into the External Footswitch jack next to the Guitar Input...
  5. You can get a dual momentary switch to plug into the external FS7 FS8 jack and then set it to either up/down preset or up/down bank or up/down snapshot in the Global settings... I have used it in either the up/down preset mode or the up/down bank mode... One of the neat things is when you set it to the up/down bank mode and then activate either switch it will trigger the current bank where you can pick any of the 4 presets... Upon selecting one of the four presets the unit will auto return to the edit mode where you can turn on and off different effects or parameters that you have set... So instead of having the press the mode switch to get back to the edit mode it eliminates that step when in bank up/down mode for FS7 - FS8... This is very handy for live situations, as long as you do not press FS7 or FS8 more than once as then it will cycle to the next bank (up or down)... I only use one bank with four presets, so I insure against accidental pressings by duplicating several banks with the same presets...
  6. Also you can save any preset to a different location other than the one you are in at the time and you will end up with the same preset in two different locations... Great for when you are far from your computer...
  7. EDIT: It would have been a lot less confusing if Line 6 had just made to "Main Outputs" XLR instead of 1/4" TRS, but the TRS works just like an XLR if you use the 1/4" TRS to XLR adapter cable that are readily available... "Balanced is for longer cable runs to the mixer/snake etc without added noise...
  8. The TRS 1/4" outputs are for "Balanced" output (XLR) and not for stereo like the "Phones" unbalanced output... When you plug into the right and left mains outputs with TRS cables it sends the left and right stereo balanced outputs to a mixer 2ea channel inputs (panned L&R)/ 2ea (L&R) FRFR speakers/2ea (L&R) audio interface inputs... If you just plug into the left mains output with a TRS plug it will send both left and right balanced signal summed down to mono... So you have to use with both left and right balanced outputs together - or a TRS 1/4 cable will suffice using the "Phones" unbalanced output... The "Amp Out" is a 1/4" TS unbalanced L&R summed mono output also... So the only stereo TRS unbalanced output is the "Phones" output... The only purpose of the TRS cable on the mains output is to deliver a "Balanced" output vs a TS cable's "Unbalanced" output - TRS does not get you "Stereo"...

    Tuner Issue

My Pod Go tuner matches both my Peterson Strobe Stomp and my TC Electronics Polytune Clip for accuracy... However, I have always noticed that whenever you are on the cusp of going from one note to another (or a flat or sharp) in that in between state where most tuners cannot decide what the note actually is - the Pod Go displays a "D" instead of a question mark/dash/or some other indication... This can be confusing at times, especially when your are actually tuning the "D" string... It is not a deal breaker as there is a difference between this "in between" state and an actual "D" note, but at first glance when you are busy prepping for a gig it can be annoying...

    Feature Request

I registered and am awaiting moderator approval... Thanks, I did not know about that community...

    Feature Request

I wish that the Pod Go "Mode" button would behave in the same manner as the external FS7&8 buttons when set to "Bank Up/Down"... That is to say if I step on the bank down button (FS7), I have my four presets to select from in the current bank... After making a selection the machine will auto return to "Stomp Mode" without having to step on the "Mode" button... This makes changing preset much faster and seamless in a performance scenario... I would like to see a Global Option for the "Mode" button to auto return to the previous stomp mode after making a section... This would free up my FS7&8 button for other uses...
  12. I was thinking that the POD Go may get the new cabs that use less DSP, and also get the ability to move the microphone... I don't see them giving POD Go users a dual cab function though because even if they use 66 - 80% less DSP the doubling feature probably exceeds the POD Go's capabilities... Also remember the Helix is capable of running dual cabs and IRs in parallel even before the latest update while the POD Go hasn't been capable of parallel anything ever... That is probably a hardware limitation...
  13. Agreed... It is not a nuisance in the slightest... I was just observing that it shows up if you touch anything - even the volume pedal... Sorry if that sounded like a complaint as it was just an observation...
  14. No, I do see the flat symbol where appropriate... On my unit, when I am at the outer range of a note, it does NOT pick up the next adjacent note immediately... It shows a capital "D" until I tune just a little farther to get to the next higher note... It always shows flats where appropriate... I have seen this behavior in all three tuning modes... The machine acts as though it is confused and thinks the in between frequency is a D natural... Now I am worried if mine is the only unit experiencing this... That means it is not something that can be rectified... This behavior has persisted across several firmware updates as I got the machine when they first came out... It actually isn't a deal breaker for me as I have just learned to expect that behavior, but I thought that everybody was seeing this quirk...
  15. The PodGO tuner always displays a "D" when it is between two notes that it can display... Since "D" is a note that the guitar is usually actually tuned to it seems the unit is in a state of confusion... It would be better to represent this state of between notes with an "X" or a "-" or even a "?"... Also, it would be a great feature if the proper octave could be displayed (E2. A2, D3, G3, etc) like they are on a Peterson tuner... That would be nice, but I would be happy with just the unknown note "D" being changed to represent a "between note" symbol...
  16. That "E" now shows up even when you just move the volume pedal... I would not call that an edit...
  17. The Pod GO is CENTER NEGATIVE, not center positive as the above poster has stated above... It does however use a 2.5mm plug instead of the 2.1mm plugs which most effects use... I power mine with the current doubling "Y adapter" adapter on 2ea 9VDC @660ma outputs plus the yellow "Type 3" 2.5mm Flex cable which gives me 9VDC @ 1320ma... The power supply that comes with the Pod Go is the DC-3h which has a center negative 2.5mm plug delivering 9VDC @ 3000ma... I have NO problems with my unit mounted on a Temple Audio pedal board with the Temple Audio CIOKS Power Supply mounted in its slot underneath powering the Pod Go plus some other pedals that I like a lot... It seems that the Pod Go max current draw is closer to 1000ma with an average draw of around 750ma, so my 1320ma output is doing fine... Edit: The Pod GO is on it's own separate 9VDC @1320ma rail... I have 2 other pedals and a buffered in/out running on their own individual 9VDC @ 660ma rails each... Edit 2: These days I am running the Pod GO on 4ea 660ma rails for 2640ma total, just for the "in case" security... I still have 1ea 660ma rail left in case I want to run something powered in the effects loop... However I am not using any additional outboard effects these days except for a passive low Z volume pedal in the effects loop for rhythm/lead volume boost...
