Marshall_Lawless
Hi, I have an HX Stomp running through the effects loop of my Marshall JVM410H and it’s producing an out of phase modulation, like when you place a cardboard tube up to your ear. This is even with a blank patch with no effects. The Stomp is connected with the main output plugged into the amp effect return and the amp send to the Stomp main input. The Marshall has an effect blend knob to dial in the desired amount of effect blend. It’s set at half way. The Marshall manual says if an undesirable phase sound happens to make sure that no direct signal is being returned from the effects processor’s output. I’ve changed everything I can in the Stomp’s global settings as well as the input and output settings and can’t find anything that routes the signal properly to stop that cardboard tube sound. If I dial the amp’s effect mix down then the phase problem reduces but so does the effects volume. Has anyone had a similar issue and knows of a fix? Thank you. -M
