Dl4 mkii expression 5 and 6

I use a splitter on the dl4mkii expression.

one side 5 is a foot switch for accessing (classic) looper mode.

the other 6 is for an expression pedal controlling mix (looper level).

Works fine — except i think it’s weird the loop keeps playing when switched out of looper mode.

 

Question: today i tried the 1-switch looper.

Something is causing it not to go into record.

the 5 footswitch, according to the global settings in the manual only for classic looper, ok, but why won’t the 1-switch looper work after setting Tap to 1-switch looper?
