frank58richard
Hi everyone, I’m having some strange behavior with audio latency in Logic Pro X on my M1 MacBook Air. I’ve noticed a noticeable delay when I’m recording with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, even though I’ve set the buffer size to 64 samples (which should usually work fine). Here’s what I’ve tried so far: I’ve adjusted the buffer size in Logic Pro X to lower values like 32, but the latency still persists. I’ve checked Audio MIDI Setup to ensure that the Focusrite is set up correctly. I’ve tried both direct monitoring through the interface and software monitoring, but the latency seems similar in both modes. I’ve disabled any plugins on the track to make sure nothing is causing the delay. I’m also using macOS Ventura, and all my software is up to date. The weird part is, the latency seems to vary depending on the session. Sometimes it’s fine, and other times it’s noticeable, even with minimal tracks. Has anyone else experienced this or know of anything else I could try to reduce the latency? Thanks a lot for any tips or suggestions!
