Transferring POD 2.0 Presets to PODxt Live via Line 6 Edit: Is It Possible?

Recommended Posts

If you're wondering whether you can load your old POD 2.0 .L6T presets onto a PODxt Live using the Line 6 Edit software, the answer is yes—with limitations. Both the POD 2.0 and PODxt Live use .L6T files, but the compatibility isn't always seamless due to differences in hardware architecture and amp modeling capabilities between the two units.     CatMeowSounds App

PODxt Live is a more advanced device with additional amp models and features that aren't present in the original POD 2.0. While Line 6 Edit can import .L6T files, presets created for POD 2.0 may not sound identical on the PODxt Live. Some parameters might be interpreted differently, and effects routing or amp models may need manual tweaking after import
