peter_zoch
Hello, I have updated Pod Express and using desktop editor, also i connected external pedal to switch on/off effects. On external controller i have overdrive on/off and delay on/off, od Pod left switch is chorus on/off. I saved clean sound, with chorus on, overdrive off ,delay on. Next preset High Gain amp, overdrive on,delay on,chorus off. Now,while changing saved preset it looks like Pod is caring on all effects from previous one,for example moving from Clean to High Gain will bring chorus on top of High Gain preset and there is no overdrive pedal as i saved before. It is really weird, looks like Pod Express is not saving individual effects setting to dedicated preset. Is this a bug or i do something wrong? When you save a preset, it doesn't seem to make a difference whether an effect module, e.g. delay, is on or bypassed. When you switch preset, it keeps the current on/bypassed state of all the effect modules. It is possible to save a preset with no effect selected for a given module. If you do that then you can never turn that effect module on for that preset, except by editing it again. I think the POD Express has been designed for either switching between presets live, or switching effects modules on and off live, but not both. peter_zoch
Well, if that is true would be great if Line6 consider to make an update in regards to save presets as they intent to sound individually without need to tap dance on effect switches. This is kind of limitation i need to find the way to make it work for my set up.
