My amp mutes without warning. How do I turn off mute?

I have a Spider V 120 Mark 2 and I use a Relay G10 to connect. For the past year, apropos to nothing, my amp will mute. I have tried unplugging the G10 from the guitar and plugging back in, but that doesn't work. I have to turn the amp off and back on to get it to work again. This is a major problem for me because I play 25-30 concerts each month and it has happened during performances.

Last week, this happened to me, and for the first time I noticed "MUTE" on the right side of the LCD display. I didn't know there was a mute function and I didn't know how it was triggered or how to turn it off. I cannot find anything online or in the literature about a mute function other than that the speaker is muted when headphones are plugged in, but that is not my situation.

Can anyone solve this mystery for me?

Presumably the headphone socket mutes the speaker on the 120 as well?  Could there be a fault with that?  Maybe trying plugging and unplugging headphones a few times to see if it clears it.   Or else a factory reset would be worth trying.
