i00i8654
I can't connect to the editor on my Helix Stadium XL. It worked fine at first, but now it won't connect. I'm using Windows. And even when I'm connected, when I try to create a new folder to put the IR in, it fails, and when I try to import, it also fails. Is this a bug? bbehrens
It sounds like you're having trouble connecting your Helix Stadium XL to the Helix Stadium app on your computer. Here are a few things to check: 1. Network Connection: Make sure both your Helix Stadium XL and your computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. They may not be able to communicate if they're on different networks. Check that the Wi-Fi signal is strong and stable for both devices. I use SpeedTest.NET to test connectivity and connection speed. 2. App Version: Ensure you’re running the latest version of the Helix Stadium app on your computer. Sometimes, compatibility issues arise if either the app or device firmware is outdated. The latest version on the Firmware is v1.2.1. The latest version of the App is v1.2.1. The latest version of the Stadium USB Driver is 0.0.3 (Recommended and required for audio). 3. Firewall/Security Settings: Sometimes, firewalls or security software on your computer might block the connection. Try temporarily disabling your firewall or antivirus and see if that helps. 4. Restart Everything: Restart both your Helix Stadium XL and the computer to clear any temporary connectivity issues. 5. App Settings: Check the app’s settings on your computer to ensure it's looking for the Helix Stadium XL and not another device. 6. Confirm your Stadium XL WiFi Settings: It sounds like you are getting intermittent connectivity issues. Honestly, it will be nice when Line 6 makes the Stadium App connectivity over USB. Wired connections are typically much better and reliable. Ensure that you are getting the best WiFi signal possible. If you are, then you might want to clear your WiFi settings and try connecting the Helix again. Sometimes a second connection gets better results. There are also a few users that have optimized Windows Ethernet settings that have had some success. Good Luck. If none of this works, you may want to reach out to Helix’s customer support for troubleshooting specific to your model.
Fazly
I was having problems connecting to the Helix app, too. The Wi-Fi needs to be on the same network, and I had my VPN on, which prevented the Helix Stadium from being discovered by the app. I turned off my VPN, and all is good now.
