Muting track in Showcase using Matrix View does not always work

I have not played with this a lot - But I did notice if I try to mute a track (only noticed while playing back track), that even though the "mute" button shows "mute" active, the track does not "mute".  If I do this several times, eventually it will mute the track.

 

This (at least at this time) is somewhat annoying, but it will work eventually (within a couple of tries).  Has anyone else seen this activity with the matrix view?  If it continues to be this way I will report to support.  I'm just interested if it is just me or what?

I get a different yet same issue. I find tracks muted that are not showing they are.

Are they supposed to be "Muted"?   OR do they just randomly mute (with no indicator)

My best guess is it was tracks I had at one point muted and then unmuted before shutting down but not sure about that.
