who842
feature request External midi assigned to songs in showcase using example band helper. Or onsong on iPad or from ableton logic using program changes. Channels on effects and amps like axe fx 3 ABCD in 1 preset. Amp A Twin B Vox c Marshall D Soldano cycle feature by pressing 1 button or a/b like axe fx 3. Synchronization Please add the ability for Showcase to synchronize to an external playback system while keeping all Showcase Flags stored locally on the Helix Stadium. Example workflow: Ableton Live (or another professional playback system) is the transport master. Ableton sends MIDI Clock, timecode Start, Stop, Continue, and Song Position Pointer (SPP). Helix Stadium follows the external transport and timeline. All Showcase Flags remain stored inside the Helix Stadium. As the playback advances, Helix automatically executes Preset, Snapshot, MIDI, Tempo, and other Flags at the correct timeline positions. This would allow musicians to use professional playback rigs with stems, click tracks, video, and timecode while still keeping all guitar automation self-contained inside the Helix ecosystem. Additional options that would be very useful: Song Position Pointer support. Automatic synchronization after rewinding or jumping to any position in the song. Adjustable automation offset in milliseconds. Option to choose whether Helix or the external playback system is the transport master. 0. external midi assigned to songs in showcase 2. Showcase Flag Recording (Automation Recording) This is the feature I would love to see the most. Instead of manually placing Flags on the timeline, allow Showcase to record them in real time. Example: Press buttons on helix wah deley volume automation Record Flags. Start playback. During the song, simply perform: Snapshot changes Preset changes Effect on/off Parameter changes MIDI Program Changes MIDI CC commands Tempo changes Command Center actions Every action is automatically written as a Flag at the exact timeline position. After recording, the user can edit, move, delete, or fine-tune the recorded Flags. This would make programming songs dramatically faster and feel much more like recording automation in a DAW. Even better would be selectable recording modes: Record Snapshots only Record Presets only Record MIDI only Record All Automation Overwrite Merge with existing Flags I believe these two features together would make Helix Stadium one of the most advanced live show controllers available and a perfect companion for professional playback systems such as Ableton Live, Playback, Gig Performer, MainStage, BandHelper, and similar platforms. Thank you for your continued innovation and for listening to the Helix community.
