[SOLVED] headphone jack broke and got stuck in my UX2.

Recommended Posts

Yup, sounds crazy but it happened and I have no idea how to get it out. Google says to put super glue on a toothpick but that sounds kinda risky, wouldn't wanna mess up the input by accidentally filling it with glue.

It seems like there are also some removal tools but way too expensive. Amazon has a cheap set but the payment options on amazon suck.

What do I do? I tried looking for screws  underneath the device, but couldn't find any. Removed one of the rubber feet but there is just more rubber under it. Please help :(

Guys I solved the problem. Took me a while but I did it. It was a combination of using a reverse tweezer, a normal one but with a stronger grip and an even stronger one for the final pull. It didn't come out with one pull, I was slowly bringing it further out until it was visible enough to be pulled with the thicker tweezer. It seems like adding attachments doesn't work so I will put an imgur link again ( with the tools I used ). Hope this post helps somebody with the same issue.
