Variax Scanner

I like that Line 6 still has the "Variax Scanner" in the Line 6 Central Software. I know that they are still "planning" to roll out the DC-10 (Ooops, I mean the "D-10") Hardware Interface that they debuted along side the Stadium XL Floor Unit. Too bad this is all we still have from Line 6 on this for us Variax owners. I know that Eric Klein has stated that they have it all working for the Variax (Er, at least that they had it communicating with the Variax...) but for us musicians that USED YO (past tense - and I am still looking at Line 6 in the past tense for now) use the Variax as part of their rig, we are still looking for a way to use the Variax - even though line 6 no longer has any literatorture on the Variax on their web site anymore (Yeah, I am looking at YOU Yamahahaha). Still hoping that the Stadium will be a replacement for the venerable Helix Floor at some point.

 

I apologize for the criticism but Line 6 was willing to accept this when they put the unit out in the market place after the debut of the Helix ten years ago KNOWING how the market has changed and become MORE competitive (and I  DON"T blame them for dropping the Variax - just for not being the ONLY vendor to create a niche market for such an instrument (still seems like a missed opportunity to me - but I am only a musician and, by definition, not in it for the $$$).
