Random gain block level resets, possible bug?

I have two inputs coming in on instrument 1 & 2.

They route to two entirely separate paths, and out XLR 1 & 2, one panned 100% left anf one panned 100% right.

I need to alternate muting one or the other with one footswitch press.

I created a gain block at the end of each before the output. This gain block is set to -120db, blocking all signal when on. The footswitch is set to alternate between the two.

This works great, except for some reason, the Stadium randomly resets the level on both blocks to near zero, with no obvious reason for doing so.

I am not using snapshots and all I am doing is playing one preset and occasionally toggling other footswitches, none of which are linked to that block.

Can someone help me figure this out? Is this the "correct" way to achieve what I'm after?

I am completely lost as to why the Stadium is doing this.

The factory preset "Knife Fight" accomplishes this by assigning the output block's level to snapshots. You could try that approach. As to your other problem, try turning on Discard Edits and see if that fixes it.
