oreayon Posted June 16, 2014 Share Posted June 16, 2014 Hi Guys!I've just purchased the HD500x and a second-hand Variax 300 plugged with the VDI cable. Besides these, I use a Peavey Classic 30 amp.And I'm afraid that I am a little lost.Is it possible to make a setup where I can somehow split the signal from the HD500x to go to the amp and also a PA, WITHOUT mixing??I would like my electric tones to go out to the amp. And my acoustic sound to go straight to PA.I'd like to be able to press FS1 on the board and make it automaticlly switch to acoustic and ONLY send out to the PA.On the FS2-4 I'd like to have electric sounds to the PA, again sending them ONLY to my amp.Is this possible??? Charlie_Watt Posted June 16, 2014 Share Posted June 16, 2014 You can have two paths (Left and Right) and pan them so that one tone goes left and the other goes right. Then send left to PA, right to Amp. BUT the output mode may not be right for both. Most use Studio Direct for PA and one of the Amp Front modes for going to an Amp.
