Hi, I am looking to buy a vox ac15c1 to use with my hd 500x. Will it sound good if i put the vox at a clean channel and use the hd 500x as a pre amp (wich is basicly using the vox for amplification only). I play lots of u2, gun n roses, queen and other stuff so in certain song, I would use the vox as my pre amp and the pod only for the effect. Sorry for my bad english my main language is french and I realy appreciate any help!

If I understand correctly, you would have to use the HD500X for effects only.  It doesn't look like that Vox amp has an effects loop so there wouldn't be anyway to bypass the preamp and only use the power amp.

Thx for you answer. So if i  plug my hd 500x in the normal channel of the amp and use my sweet child o mine patch from the pod what would happen because this is what i am doing at the moment but i have a fender mustang 1.

That should work fine. I would just make sure the patch didn't model an amp or cabinet.

If i use amp sim on the patch and just put the vox at the cleanest tone possible wouldn't that work?
