Problem With The Pod Hd 500 & Fender Princeton

Hello!

I have a POD HD500, i'm very satisfied for playing in my flat with headphones.

But I have a problem, I have a Fender Princeton to play in band, and I want to use only the effects and remove the amp simulation.

I tried yesterday with this configuration:

  • Output mode = "Combo Front"
  • connection = "Unbalanced output L mono" ====> "Enter Instrument n°1"
  • No amp in my preset

I was surprised because of the volume: I'm at the maximum of the amp but I hear almost nothing.

Do I have to have a simulation of preamp necessarily?

I would like to keep my Princeton sound!

Can you help me?

Maybe I have to do an other procedure?

Thank you for your help!

Best!

Jean
