DT-series amplifiers combine the analog components found in most vintage and modern tube amps with programmable control, giving you a complete boutique amp factory in one convenient package. Co-designed by technology leader Line 6 and tube-amp guru Reinhold Bogner, the DT series defines a new class of amplifier that provides unprecedented versatility.
Free v2.0 Firmware Update
Available as a free download, v2.0 firmware takes your DT amp from four voicings to total flexibility. Create never-before-heard amp tones by pairing any of 30 HD preamps with any combination of dynamic topologies within Reinhold Bogner’s reconfigurable tube power amp.
The dynamic topologies include four negative feedback loop options (tight, loose, zero and resonant), operating class (A/AB), power tube configuration (pentode/triode), 12AX7* (normal/boost), B+ voltage* (phase inverter high/low) and feedback capacitor* (cap X/Y).
You can also configure each voicing with your choice of 12 reverbs, complete with per-channel spillover—and more.

Customizable Voicings
With four voicings per channel, you have eight unique options at your fingertips—and many more when connected to a POD® HD multi-effects.
12 Reverbs with Spillover
V2.0 firmware lets you configure each voicing with your choice of 12 vibey reverbs, each with unique parameter settings. Switching between Channel A and Channel B now includes reverb spillover, which lets your reverb finish its decay when you switch channels.
Variable 12AX7 Boost (DT50 only)
You can now set the 12AX7 boost per amp model. In earlier DT50 firmware versions, some amps were boosted, some were not—now you have the option to set each one however you like.

To update your DT amp, connect it to your computer via a USB-to-MIDI interface, then run the Line 6 Monkey Intelligent Updater and follow the instructions in the DT Firmware Installation Guide.

Once you’ve updated your amp, you have a few options for customizing the voicings. If you own an iPhone® or iPad®, adding a Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer™ II (and TouchOSC or any other compatible MIDI app) allows you to control all of the enhanced MIDI functionality right from your iOS device. Line 6 has created presets for the TouchOSC app, which you can download below.
You can also control your amp’s enhanced MIDI functionality via a Mac® or PC computer with a USB-to-MIDI interface and compatible software capable of sending MIDI CC information.
