Sorry, no change. The piezo works when totally out of the bridge, just not when in place. (Off to the repairer?)

I've recently bought a new JTV69s and tonight the G string kept dropping out. After unplugging and plugging back in the string was back, only to drop out again some minutes later. Will check brue58ski's solution to see if that helps.

Also, spaceatl, the pencil test worked much better when the amp was on! However it then sent the whole amp microphonic. Still, as I said, much better now.

The amp had (Russian) Electro Harmonix EL84 valves that needed to be replaced. In the end I replaced them with ones from Watford valves. Much better.

For all options I-IV on my DT25 there is a resonance with any C# note on the guitar. (It's not the guitar, or the player!) Any ideas?
