hi peeps... want to ask...is there anyways that i could control my amp channel using pod x3?

Hello, need a little help here... i'm using the POD x3 pro for my audio interface..my laptop spec is Intel Core Duo T4300 2.1 GHz, RAM 2 GB DDR2, HDD 320GB SATA 5400RPM, nVidia GeForce 9300M GS, 14.1 inch WXGA (1280×800)..my problem is..when i'm using my pod x3 pro to play the backing track or using my DAW,the audio sometimes stuck and have some popping..i've already try the method that been guide by line6 but seems like the problem never been solved...does anyone have the same experience like i do?i'm running of windows 32bit system...

so,can i just dial a dual tone by just using only the FX chain?
