  1. I just got my Mono Pedaltrain bag. There's a little extra room in it, but it's really nice.
  2. I know a lot of people posted throughout the forum asking if the Helix could go straight into a cabinet, though it must go through a power amp first. I did notice that you can go out of the headphones jack straight into a cabinet, then control the volume through the headphones knob. The only issue is the volume is somewhat limited and won't get nearly as loud as most people would like. Couple questions: Is tone compromised going this route??? Not sure if it's dumbed down at all coming out of the Phones jack. And can an damage be done to the unit cranking this up and using this method often? Thanks everyone, sound is not my specialty.
  3. I'm not the brightest until I see things done once - I have the Helix program on my computer, can switch around and copy and paste patches, just not sure how to save custom presets on there??? I wrote over some factory presents so want to restore them. thanks guys
  4. I'm a newbie at this too higgs. Great insight from everyone here, thanks so much. Here’s my situation where I NEED HELP! I want to use my helix as a mere effects board as well – no amp or cab modeling. I’m running it with a VOX AC30 so just want to use a pushed clean sound on that, then am fine with using some distortions like the Klon on the Helix. I know I have to be using the effects loop to some degree and or the 4 cable method as the tones were way too harsh running the Helix into the amp input. Which should I use – 4 cable method or another effects loop configuration? And do I need to insert any send or returns into my signal change being that I’m not using any amp or cab models? Thanks in advance!
