  1. Ha - not really, but I'm genuinely pleased for you! Although your profile just says 1 registered product ...
  2. My last remaining working Line6 product has died - the G30 Wireless relay. Well, tbh, it's hardly worked since I bought it, but it's now permanently flashing yellow and purple lights, even though it worked last night. LINE6 G30 - BROKEN - Won't connect, flashes yellow and purple lights LINE6 Spider 75 - BROKEN - Turns on, but horrendous sounds and no signal throughput. LINE6 Amplifi 150 - BROKEN - Won't turn on LINE6 Microspider - BROKEN - Battery power never worked, now pots on the front disable line volume LINE6 Amplifi TT - amazingly still seems to work, but disconnects from Bluetooth when it wants LINE6 FBV Shortboard Mk 2 - I can only imagine All purchased between 2010 and 2017 Meanwhile ..... PEAVEY XR600B Mixer Amp 1980 - WORKS PERFECTLY PEAVEY KB-100 Keyboard Amp 1986 - WORKS PERFECTLY MARSHALL AS100D - Acoustic Amp - 2001 - WORKS PERFECTLY TRACE ELLIOT 712 - Bass Amp - 1999 - WORKS PERFECTLY Is there a pattern here?? All out of warranty obviously, but why is the build quality so awful? The only 'support' I get is 'take it to the official repair centre', which is a) 500 miles away and b) costs before it's even started to be fixed. They refused to even tell me where the fuse was located in the Amplifi 150 ..... I cannot trust Line6 ever again, unless someone can direct me to a morally accountable executive that says, "You know what? You've spent over £1000s with us and you've got pretty shabby product, so here's what we can do for you" If anybody has any workarounds for the G30, that would be of assistance ......
  3. OK, thanks for the quick response anyway. I'm not the first person to be disillusioned about the DNA of Line 6 commercial model I guess. I have a 40 year old Peavey mixer amp and a 50 year old Carlsbro Marlin, both fully functional after local repairs with spares available. Unfortunately it seems as though Line 6 equipment is only designed and built to last about 5 years. You live and learn.
  4. Thanks for this. It's certainly been in a room which has experienced heat and humidity over the years. There are three service places on mainland Spain, and unfortunately they're all about 400 miles away from me! Do you think that a local repair centre (non Line 6) could check this out for me? Does anybody know if/where Line 6 sell spares eg complete boards? Thanks again
  5. I have a Spider IV 75, circa 2012. It was unused for some time, then in trying it out, no response at all other than power on, display working correctly, white noise and crackle, and very very loud bang/cracks when I try to connect a jack. I removed the top amp section, cleaned all the moving parts I could find, put jacks with contact cleaner in and out of any sockets. The white noise and crackle has reduced a lot, but the 'big bangs' are still there, with no sound going through. Connecting a device through the rear mini-jack is no problem, with no background noise, and output level controlled happily by volume. So speaker and basic amplification is fine. 4 questions:- 1) Anybody recognise the issue and can point me to the likely culprit? 2) Any recommendations to sites online to buy spares of boards etc? I'm based in SE Spain. 3) What's the likelihood of an experienced amp fixer (I am not one) being able to fault find and get parts? 4) Failing all else, any recommendations for price for a spares/repairs posting on eBay Spain? As I said, line in, headphone, speaker and amp and display all seems to be working happily. Thanks for any help. (PS I also have a Amplifi 150 that only lights up the ABCD voices dimly, but other than that totally unresponsive. Power supply or System board? Also cleaned it down, no luck)
