I'm interested in setting up a small, portable live sound system for house shows and similar very small venues for a mostly acoustic band. I already have an old pair of L2T's that I use for FRFR with guitar and bass. I will say up front I am not at all well versed in live sound mixing but I would like to leverage my pair of L2Ts in a small system with a wireless mixer. In 2026 is it worth hunting down an M20D and is it better suited for use with just a pair of L2Ts (and someone with no experience) than perhaps a used X AIR, Soundcraft, Mackie etc. setup at the same price point?

Hello, I have an old Variax 700 acoustic with the XPS A/B box. I know that some Line6 gear such as the M9 (which comes with the same AC power supply as the XPS) can be used with AC or DC power sources. Can the XPS also be powered with DC? Thanks! -Bruce
