oh, damn...thank you guys. Now, if i buy the proper adapter, i can use my pod or the electronics is already damaged?

I've a pod x3 live US version with the adapter based on 110V, but i live in Italy with the 220V. I'm already using a power adapter for notebook with 9V and 5000mA, i can continue to use this or the high ampere can change the signal? when I use the clean sound i've a problem: when i play softly the strings on my guitar (or another guitar) the sound have a little distortion.
